Lee Bondy of Palmyra, NJ passed away Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015. He was 90.
A WWII veteran, Lee saw action in the Pacific as a radar technician aboard the USS Cleveland, and later, a radar and sonar instructor during the Korean Conflict. He received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, later earning a Masters degree in Business Administration from UCLA. In 1953 he worked as an instrumentation systems engineer and supervisor with Douglas Aircraft. Lee later became involved with aerospace applications of electro-mechanical sensor technology with G.L. Collins Corp. in California, and then Schaevitz Engineering, Inc., Western Division.
